“We appointed CLS through our tender process in order to better understand our Carbon footprint and solicit recommendations which would help us move towards our Carbon Zero by 2030 target.
Following site visits and desk-based analysis, CLS produced a well-structured report detailing our carbon footprint and recommending both energy efficiency measures and renewable energy investments, which would substantially reduce our carbon emissions and bring considerable cost savings if enacted. The recommendations were all highly specific to our sites and equipment, and were helpfully ranked by payback period to allow us to make the most cost-effective choices. Having previously worked in local government, one of Alan’s key strengths is his understanding of the challenges facing local authorities; this understanding enables him to approach the work with a real sense of pragmatism.
Following our receipt of the report, CLS have continued to support us through discussions and advising us where we have queries.
